Hi and welcome to the Half-nekkid hosting blog created especially for the 2006 Rogue Festival.
On May 19th, 2005 blogging history was made.
On that date, a little known blogger in Montana by the name of Osbasso started an online experiment with almost no expectations."I figured it would last for a few weeks, and go no further than a handful of blogger buddies," Osbasso admits.
Little did he know he was about to unleash a virtual whirlwind on the blogosphere; and that whirlwind would travel the globe, growing in momentum and catching dozens, possibly hundreds in its wake. That whirlwhind?
Half-Nekkid Thursday.
It has shattered Osbasso's original expectations, and resulted in his 'handul of blogging buddies' growing to encompass friends from around the world. It has become a full-fledged community in and of itself and currently stands at about 500 participants.
The basic premise is simple: post a photo of yourself in a state of 'half-nekkidness' on your blog every Thursday. But those looking for a cheap thrill will be sorely disappointed. It's all in good, clean fun.Osbasso explains, "It is not a sex thing. Yes, there are many who post sexy pictures. But "half-nekkid" doesn't necessarily refer to the flesh. The concept of "half-nekkid" lies in the mind of the person posting the HNT. Many bloggers have used HNT to show parts of their soul, parts of their conscience, and parts of their lives. Many have used HNT to break out of whatever shells they might have found themselves living within."
Every Thursday contributors from around the world expose themselves physically and emotionally. People who find themselves shy and reserved in their daily lives have found themselves liberated by the experience and have often revealed an artistic side they didn't know they possessed.
The names listed on the sidebar are a few members of the HNT family who wanted to share themselves with the Rogue.
